2019-2020  Artistic investigation of the the development area Södra Möckeln on behalf of the municipality of Älmhult and the Public Art Agency Sweden. / Konstnärlig utredning av utvecklingsområdet Södra Möckeln på uppdrag av Älmhults kommun och Statens Konstråd. Projektet är en del av Statens Konstråds regeringsuppdrag Kunskapsnav offentlig konst.

 

2019 Region Skånes environmental grant / miljöstipendium: ”Region Skånes miljöstipendium 2019 tilldelas Caroline Mårtensson. Genom att belysa miljö- och klimatfrågor ur ett konstnärligt perspektiv bidrar Caroline till att flytta dessa livsavgörande frågor från att vara ett särintresse för de få, till att bli synligt och relevant för fler, både privatpersoner och andra aktörer i samhället. Hennes verk belyser det motsägelsefulla i att vi människor både formar och förstör naturen, samtidigt som vissa av våra verksamheter är en förutsättning för bevarande av arter.”

2017-19 Man and Biosphere – Precarious Situations, an interdisciplinary, site-specific project initiated by me in cooperation with Kristianstads Konsthall and Naturum Vattenriket and together with a core group consisting of the artists Terje Östling, Nilsmagnus Sköld, Malin Lobell and the political scientist Johannes Stripple, as well as an external network of researchers and artists.

2016, 24/11 THE WATER IS COMING! Seminar at Form Design Center in Malmö. Anna Persson, Karin Görlin and I present our proposal for the architectural competition IMAGINE SKÅNE 2030: RETREAT AS DEFENSE.

Art and the Manifestation of Social Change – The artist´s role as knowledge producer and the art institution as host of cross-disciplinary enquiries, the conference takes the project Moving Mass as a starting point to create cross disciplinary conversation about different methods to visualize our contemporary time and its underlaying history. Conference developed by the curator Lisa Rosendahl together with Kalmar Konstmuseum and the participating artists in Moving Mass.
